BioAstin
For the production BioAstinu Advanced technology is used to produce natural astaxanthin from the algae Haematococcus Pluvialis. The first stage of cultivation of these algae takes place in closed pool systems with a capacity of up to 40,000 liters. The next short cycle of "red coloration" of 5-7 days takes place in open breeding ponds with a capacity of 50,000 liters. At every stage of BioAstin production, Haematococcus algae cultures are examined microscopically to ensure that the cultures are clean and free of contaminants. After the red coloration cycle is completed, the algae are collected, washed and dried. The final production stage of BioAstin is the extraction of the dried Haematococcus algae biomass using supercritical carbon dioxide into an oleoresin that is free from biological.
